John Sheffield is co-founder and president of Seven Bridges Genomics, which aims to harness open-source innovation to make genomics analysis accessible, repeatable, and sharable across the scientific community.
John began in the human rights field, where his work on state violence in the developing world garnered two of Harvard’s main undergraduate research prizes.
He moved to statistics as a Marshall Scholar at the University of Oxford, and worked on data science tools to handle subjective data in psychometric evaluations.
